So I had an old amp fixed that was given to me by my buddy Richard Rutherford. I'm sure he got tired of kicking it each time he lost signal. $50 later and two shows to dial in at the Raiding The Country Vault show I found "the tone" 9.5 Bass 3 Shift, 6 Mid and 4 treble. I sit about 4 ft from the hanging Mains and 10 from the Subs and I've got all the clean volume and tone galore. I know all amps are different but had I known I'd have moved backwards sooner! |

George, good to know. What speaker are you using? I use a Special 130 and I'm now on my 3rd speaker. TT 12 and still not feeling good about the tone. |

I believe what Paul Wade said is what I have. I know it's a 15" and not a BW!
Next time I'm at the show (Thurs) I'll see if I can determine what flavor speaker I've got. And Paul I would love to know what your Shift and Mid are set on. I realize that all things aren't the same and my sound is a combination of my amp and the side of the main 5ft from me (equal parts)
I'm just amazed at this little amp, how loud, light and full of tone it is. And it's what 35 years old. |

I can tell you one thing it's way, way lighter than the Black Widow that came out of the cabinet
ANYONE KNOW WHAT BRAND SPEAKER THIS IS? |
