I bought this Session 115 used and the speaker sounds real muddy or distorting on the base strings on both necks. I installed a Eminence 15 C speaker and the amp is really good. i don't know if i have a bad speaker. I wonder if this is common with this amp.

I have one in my NV 400 and it sounds great.

It is not common.

Did you call Peavey Service about a replacement like I suggested? It should still be under warranty.

I talked to cust service at peavey and they told me to rotate the
speaker magnet. I did and now the speaker sounds good.
