Yes, this will work fine for pedal steel and lap steel and electric guitars and acoustic guitars. The display is large and very readable even while sitting on the floor. It is powered by a 9 volt battery or a 9 volt power supply, negative tip. $129.99 plus shipping. This item is not yet on my regular website for sale. Will be up there by tomorrow.

Definitely an accurate adaptable tuner for guitar or lap or pedal steel, just about any instrument.

Plus a buffer mode, which to my ear sounds exactly like the L'ill Izzy

I just got one.
I would like to get a few of the tunings from my StroboPlus onto the StoboStomp.

How can I do this?

After many tries, I finally succeeded in getting some tunings from the Peterson Connect app. The identical tuning seems to track pretty good on the Strobostomp vs the Stroboplus HD. The buffer does add a little pazazz, which is good also.

I have the Peterson clip on. I takes too long for the bars to line up. I prefer to use the Korg pitchblack advance.

As I mentioned earlier, the buffer works well with my passive volume pedal. I usually use a freeloader for this, but didn't use it with the tuner. I was pleasantly surprised. It was EXCITING! Maybe next time I will try the buffer mode on the tuner along with the freeloader to see if it is doubly exciting!

(the only thing I had to be careful about was when I nudged it over a little on the floor and accidentally hit the "mode" swtch. This switched the sweetened tuning to a different one. Easy enough to see and change back, but am now a little cautious with it. Normally if it is in one location and not moved, this would not happen.
