For those that may be interested. Google "Transferwise", it is way cheaper and better than Paypal. Totally safe and probably the cheapest on the world money transfer scene at the moment. 3 Million users currently and growing.

I have used Transferwise for moving money from Britain to the USA and their rates beat the 'big banks' by miles. The last one was a mere 0.9% - significant when dealing with tens of thousands of pounds Sterling.
It had never occurred to me that they'd also effect domestic transfers - it's logical that they would, though.
