The only complaint I have about the Omni is that the active/passive switch is recessed and only accessible via a small poking device -- Goodrich provides a proper-sized allen wrench to insert to punch the switch.
I understand that this was to prevent having a component sticking out to get broken off or accidentally switched on, in the Pack-seat. I believe this was the correct design decision.

But--

This is what I did and it works like a charm. The only means of adhesion is the shrink tubing that grips the switch stem and the q-tip (anything at all can work here -- a wooden skewer, eg. It is a flexible joint so that the worst damage that can occur is that it falls off the stem of the switch. But so far it has held the stem well enough and stayed on.

Note that the photos already have this extender installed. I don't have a photo of the stock pedal with the switch recessed in the housing.

Check it out.

Saugerties, NY? I lived in Red Hook for 17 years and played a lot gigs with the Stringmasters. Lots of great eateries around there.

Your solution is awesome!

Thanks Greg.
I was instantly frustrated by the difficulty of switching back & forth to audition the active/passive circuits as I tried to get acquainted with the new pedal. Especially with the pedal clamped to the rack and with fingerpicks on. I needed a solution that was 100% non-destructive. No mechanical alterations, no adhesives. If/when this falls off I can rig another in 5 minutes. I might consider a tiny drop of glue inside before applying heat. Maybe not.

In the mid 70's, for around 3 years I lived here in Woodstock and worked in Rhinecliff. But since moving back up here 2.5 years ago I don't get across the river much. Did play at a Red Hook farmer's market last summer.
