Bob Calloway used to handle the derby problems after Charlie passed. 502-921-1868.
What parts are you needing for your Derby? |

I found a Derby that was built in 2013. Charlie Stepp had already passed away. Who built Derby’s after he passed? |

For what it's worth, Derby's are very easy to work on. I understand that Legrand parts will fit the Derby. What exactly do you need to do? _________________ '81 Sho-bud LDG, 2 EMCI's |

I don’t know yet. I just found a Derby that I’m interested in buying. At this point, the only thing I know for sure is it’s a Day setup and that will have to be changed. It’s possible that the guitar may already have everything I need but just changing the setup. |

In that case, any competent tech should be able to work on a Derby. Factory correct parts are generally not available but lots of other parts can be made to fit. The early Emmons Legrand 4 hole bell cranks do fit and many others that fit 5/16th inch square shafts also work.
Converting from Day to Emmons, if you even need to, is fairly easy. _________________ '81 Sho-bud LDG, 2 EMCI's |

Bob Calloway had an abundance of parts a few years ago.
If your just changing the setup I dont think that youll need any parts. |
