What is the actual chord name (2nd chord change) in SGR,,,some use that chord,,,some just stay with the I chord. The actual note I'm referring to is the major 7th of the scale,,,C scale would be B. Is the chord a dim 7th,,,or half dim,,or ????

It could be a E minor 6th.

I'd say the 2nd would be same as 1st, to me anyway. Rolling Eyes

The song stays on the E chord there. That's how Leon, Buddy Emmons, and others played it. I think that "second chord" that some bands put in is A9. That would have the B note you're looking for.

Thanks guys. I think the "second chord" adds a little color. I made a BIAB track with C slash dim 7 sounds pretty good. I'l try the A9.
