Frank Carter mounts his switches under the guitar on a modified aluminum channel.

I just put a Bill Lawrence XR16 in my Mullen SD12. I split the coil and put a switch under the guitar using a regular old L bracket. On my Carter D10 with 9&9, there probably wouldn't be enough room to mount switches under the guitar, well, maybe under the keyhead.
