I have listened to this track many many times. The steel is great. Is it Russ Blake?

Makes sense..., but I checked some images and Russ usually wears his wedding ring and more hair on his arms. (Only steel players recognize people from fingers and hands....)

Think you'll find that this is Paul Brainerd, who also played the album.

That’s Paul Brainard of Portland on steel. Terrific musician.

Jesse Lege on accordion and vocal, Joel Savoy, Sammy Lind, and Sophie Vitells on fiddles, Caleb Klauder on guitar, and I’m sorry, but I don’t know the bass player or drummer.

Sonny - I’m pretty sure it’s basic C6. I’ve listen most of it. Kind of easy because the camera is right on him. It’s a fun lick to play!
