I spent an hour with Jay Dee in Spokane on the his PP set up. You can ALWAYS learn something by looking under another players PP.
He uses support bell cranks on most all of his pulls. I do that sometimes but added more today, makes the pulls smoother to me.
I also eliminated my 3rd pedal (B-C#/E-F#)(as per Frank Carter) and put the string 1 F#-G# and string 2 D#-E change there. I put the 4th string E-F# on the RKL along with the 7th string F#-G#.
On the Cth neck I raised the 4th string A to Bb and lowered the 7th string C-Bb. Played with srings 10 and 8 it gives you a 7th for rock stuff.
Oh what fun we have in PP land.

On longer rods, especially push rods, it is wise to install extra bell cranks. These are not tightened to the rods, but act as "passive" guides to keep the rods from bending.

| I had my S-10 apart recently and added support bellcranks to all of the longer rods.... push and pull. It made a big difference... |

I'm about to have Jim Palenscar add them on my SD-12pp 3/4 Ext E9th guitar. The E-Eb push rods flex about 1/4" in the middle of a 20" run from the bellcrank to the changer. I Put a temporary bracket in using an existing screw hole and the difference in the feel was dramatic.
