Question on changing copedents. From looking at the pulls on the green copedent, it is essentially just a flipped RK/LK without the G and the C# raises. If a steel is set up for Green, is it possible to change it to Emmons without extra parts? I would think that you would need two more bars?

To summarize: What is required to take a steel from Green to Emmons besides a whole lotta time?

Thanks!

You would need to add a vertical knee lever as Lloyd does not have one. Also, Buddy had a couple of more pulls on his knee lever than Lloyd has so more pull rods and bell cranks would need to be added as well. The level of difficulty will depend on the type of guitar you want to modify.

Hope this helps.

That confirms my theory. Thank you! I was thinking of keeping it 3x4 and knew the vertical would be a whole different project. Even with adding the additional pulls though the new parts would be needed.
