Any really tall players out there like me? I am 6’ 4†and have a 2 inch lift on my Emmons push pull. Sometimes I am comfortable whereas other times my legs are almost touching the guitar depending on what boots I’m wearing. Is there a standard distance between the underbelly of the guitar and your legs? Should I get a 3†lift? Thanks!

Why even think of what other people do. Just extend your steels' legs to where you want them, and extend all your rods to fit the new length. You can extend all the rods for under $15, and make "YOUR STEEL FIT YOU". I am almost positive your legs will have enough tubing to extend another inch. You have to make "YOUR STEEL FIT YOU". _________________ Sho-Bud LDG, Martin D28, Ome trilogy 5 string banjo, Ibanez 4-string bass, dobro, fiddle, and a tubal cain. Life Member of AFM local 142 |

You want your seat at a comfortable height for your size. Thighs flat with feet on floor. Then with your highest heel boots not only do you want your legs to be below the guitar body, You want to check your knee levers and make sure your legs are down on the knee lever where you have good leverage, And not putting pressure right on the hinge and mount for the knee lever. Makes for a more comfortable and easier guitar to play. |
