I'm headed to Dallas this weekend--can any of you Texas steelers tell me if there are there any music stores in the area that sell Pedal steels or strings or picks?? somewhere i could go to buy some stuff and shoot the breeze about the pedal steel??

Charley's Guitar under Alex Johnson was selling pedal steels for a while, but now it looks like that part of the business might be in Arlington. I don't know if Alex is still involved with Charley's. Certainly worth a call to both places to find out unless Alex sees this and chimes in before you get to it.
I love that place, I just never have time to drop by at the same time I'm in the area. _________________ If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.
