Is there any one that can give me a hand with a ZB Custom, I think about a 1982 model. Thanks.

Hey Keith! Check out B. Greg Jones down here in Kentucky. He's been the "go-to" for ZB info, parts, repair, etc. Just do a Forum search on his name. Sounds like you have a "Brumley era" guitar...the shorter body and headstock, but typical layout under the hood. Had one...nice sounding/playing guitars, but don't work on it unless you know how! Hope this helps! Regards, RK

Thanks Rick, yes it was made by Tom I am told and it has four and seven so it should be fun. Dont look bad just some TLC for the most part I think. Yes I will get in touch with Greg, Rolene had given me his name as well. Thanks.

Hi Keith,
Give me the serial number. I have an 81 short body d10.
I also had an 82 short body d10 both were blond and red with a basket weave inlays.

Hi David The ser # is 0835 11 string 7 levers and 4 pedals. It needs a good cleaning under the hood but every thing works and I dont plan to play it a lot any way. It is a very neet steel for sure.

Hi Keith,
That was a pretty good guess on your part. Looks like it might be an 82. The number of my guitar is 0711 and I took delivery in Oct of 1981.
