That is the great Randy Reinhard. Unfortunatly Randy is now resting high on that mountain. RIP Randy; we miss you; but every bit of your music still lives within us.

And someone in control of that recording realized that it wasn’t gonna get any better than what Randy was playing. No funky keyboards, no screaming cat fight distorted guitars, not even any beautiful fiddle that Bobby is famous for. Bass, drums, maybe a hint of a rhythm instrument & Randy. Well done. |

The first time I saw him play live, he carried that ole Emmons in already assembled & with picks & tools & junk piled up between the necks. I looked out back & he had driven here in an old Olds, I think it was. How he hauled the guitar in that car with it together & piled with junk like that I don’t know. Amazing musician & instrument. |
