I have been tuning my Weissenborn guitar in C6 and after looking real close at it, I am thinking that the neck may not have been made to take that much stress?
Do any of you guys know?
I prefer the C6 tuning but I would lower that down to A6 if there is a lot of danger in using C6
This is not American made but it looks as strong as the authentic American models. _________________ Curbside Jimmy's New Act

For vintage acoustic Weissenborn type guitars use this lighter adjusted set.

*NOTE always use a wound third string for slide guitar sets. _________________ Steel Guitar Books! Website: www.volkmediabooks.com

If the top is not bowing dramatically you’re probably okay... the top is where the stress shows. _________________ Too much junk to list... always getting more. |
