I had a post back in April asking for help choosing a new pickup for my S-10, 89 Zum. I had already had the stock Zum pickup in for years and then an E-66 for years. They weren't bad, but not exactly what I wanted to hear. I installed the George L 10-1 and have played two dances in two different buildings. So far I am very pleased. I did not have to change the controls on my Nash. 112 and find I don't monkey with them all night. It makes the 112 sound like a bigger amp. Maybe it's not for everyone, but it sure is working for me. Thanks for all your comments to help me choose. Pickups are fairly expensive and not that easy to change.

You're in good company. When I ordered my Carter S12U, I decided to have the Geo L 12-1 p/u put in it. Haven't regretted it at all.
