Does anybody in this country (USA) have any experience with Schild guitars? They look damn cool. I don't expect to get a whole lot of replies to this post...
Thanks in advance. |

I considered one but they don't have enough raises/lowers for my uni coped.
From what I've heard they're as good as you'd expect Swiss engineering to be. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

the Schild Steel is the best made Steel Guitar today in my opinion.
Sound might be subjective but precision and workmanship not.
if this guitars would make it to an American steel guitar convention
they'd be a sensation.

Thanks Norbert. I know that describing tone is subjective and difficult, but can you try to give us a general frame of reference for the Schild's tone? |

hi Tal,
here`s a German Schlager record I played on.
might be a little cheesy but the Schild is behind.
Solo at about 2.22

hi jay, Sara plays a German guitar, a WBS not a Schild.
She's a great player anyhow!
