While at the Dallas Show I notice a few of the players were using a new type case. It was actually split into two cases, one for the guitar and the other for the legs and pedal bar. Do you have any idea who is making and selling these cases? Any help you might offer would sure be appreciated. |

I would highly recommend Mr Wade Thomas for a new case, he is very honest and quick to help you. "Mr. Wade Thomas, owner of Thomas Custom Case Co. in Burlington N.C. 336-226-6811". There is no nicer gentleman to deal with, tell him I recommended him to you, you'll be glad. Same goes for Mr Bobby Boggs, is just as honest, and just as fast to help you as well. Just depends on what you want, new or used. Both gentlemen will do their best to satisfy you [This message was edited by Allen Howington on 19 May 2006 at 07:21 PM.] |

I think the split case idea is great. Being a person that likes & plays Emmons P/P's, the weight issue is always gonna be a deterant. Carrying 2 cases for your guitar may take a little more packing, but works out to be alot less BACKBREAKING!
My friend Herb Steiner went to using split cases for his '65 Emmons wraparound awhile back. He says it's the only way to go nowadays. Nick
