Many of you have and or have read the Winnie Winston Book of Pedal Steel Guitar.
However, most have probably never heard Winnie play.
Here is a cut of one of the few shows Winnie played at the ISGC before he passed away.
Winnie Winston - Steel Guitar
Jimmy Queen - Drums
Duke Dumas - Bass
Bobby Caldwell - Guitar
Enjoy

I have had three copies of his book. I also saw Winnie play live a couple times. He even played his banjo on a song one time at the ISGC. He was a good player for sure. |

As far as I know, this is the only existing longer video footage of Winnie. Bill, that is a treasure!

I really enjoyed his version of CRAZY in the middle of the mix. |
