Russ Trac sent me the info I needed.
Albert Johnson an Dana Flood did the restore.
I think they just did the undercarriage.

Purchased this retail in Nashville I need some history on this Bolt on to pass on to the next owner. The set up is incredible an I’m thinking many of the parts have been chromed.

Thanks in advance J.K.

I have lots of pictures of this Emmons fatback bolt on in for sale section of undercarriage I’m trying to get some history on her.
The set up is incredible

Here's a fatback bolt on I've been working on. All the parts have been polished by Doug Moss. I stripped the cabinet and Andy Todd refinished it. I'll start rodding it this week.

Ron that’s a beautiful Emmons steel you know there’s quite a few push pulls being restored. I would like to see her when you’re done.

I've been working hard on this one. It was trashed. Spent most of its life in VFW's and Honkey Tonks. All of the metal parts were coated with tar and nicotine stains. The cabinet finish was bad off. I'm pretty sure this one will be my forever ax.

Ron,
I've got one like that!
It originally belonged to Doug Jernigan and had 11 foot pedals. It needs serious rebuilding and one of these days I'll get around to it.

Erv,
If you ever decide it's too much work to deal with I'd
be willing to take it off your hands. Smile I've got a 72 Sho-Bud Professional and a 74 blond Pro II Custom almost ready to sell. I'll need a couple more to keep me busy.

Johnnie, whatever the history...I gotta say that is one handsome pedal steel guitar. That birds eye maple with the black inlay knocks me out. Congrats.

Nice work Ron! Doug is great and does all my polishing too.
Did you plug the apron holes so you could use a decal or are you going with the badge? Love seeing this work...

The finish was in terrible shape on this guitar. Dana removed most of the lacquer with a plastic card. It originally was 8/0. Eight pedals and no knees. Albert and Dana did all of the restoration in Albert's shop in Tallahassee. Upon completion, Dana sold it to me, and I sold it after a couple of years to a gentleman from Central Tennessee. [/u]
