Here's a brand new vid featuring me playing my three Industrial Steel Guitars: baritone, resonator and Rail with Duesenberg hand levers. Huge thanks to Mark Schreiber for the vid production and Peter Rydberg at 1935 for the audio. Also big thanks to Christopher Fouke at Industrial Guitars for the instrumental support!! |

Awesome playing, Mike! And a great demo of the different styles of instruments. I'm really digging the resonator's tone, and the baritone was a real surprise. I could see it being a great sound in a number of settings.
Are they versatile? You plated the rail model clean -- how does it sound with some drive? _________________ Peter

thanks very much Peter--I think all of my Foukes have very unique, rich tones, clean or driven. The bari is rad and super useful in the studio in many ways. I'm really just getting going on the levers, but I love the Rail, although prob needs a stand as its weight has increased. The resonator has an acoustic sound somewhere between a dobro and a tricone (from my limited experience w tricones) but that Arnsparger P90 pickup is fantastic, super responsive. |
