I found a guitar with an Emmons name plate but it just doesn't look right. Did they ever use 8 hole bellcranks? |

AFAIK, not in regular production. P/p 2 hole, Legrande 4 hole and Legrande 11 14 hole bellcranks. |

You need to put up more pictures.
It's hard to tell from the rump.

Pictures of the front, top, and undercarriage will help identify the guitar. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . This guitar has Emmons fret boards, an Emmons name plate and metal necks The bell cranks are 8 holes. The end plate does not look correct. Here is a photo of the underside.

There is nothing Emmons, of any design, in that photo. |

The undercarriage resembles the ones that Duane Marrs made. _________________ ----------------------------------
