Noticed that my Profex II features an effects loop on the rear panel. Attempted to run my rack tuner utilizing this but 'Send' jack does not seem to be emitting a signal, anything that I may be overlooking?

The effect loop is inoperative unless it it programmed into the setting you are using The manual has a great explanation on how to add it as an effect

Hi David, back when I was using a Profex II I made up a Tuner patch which worked great .... see my notes on how to set it up below ---

A "Muted" tuner patch for Profex ll

Take a patch that you don't use, or want, and go into edit mode and remove everything from the patch.
Now bring up the "FX" parameter !!!
Go into edit mode and set the Send level=100, Direct level=0, Return level=0, Summed return=off.
Name this patch "Tuner" or something similar.
Store and save.
Now patch from the effects loop send jack on the back of the Profex II (I don't think it matters which one,
but I used the left), straight to the input of your Tuner
--- no need to setup a return.

Now you can tune your guitar with the amp muted using this patch.
I have mapped it so that it is sitting right next to my most commonly used patches, and when I need to
tune I just scroll to the "Tuner" patch which automatically mutes the amp --- you can tune in silence
which is great for loud environments.
Once your done tuning, just scroll back to your playing patch and your away.

=====

Try that and see how you get on - Paddy
