Hi all!
Steve Palousek is one of my favorites of all time, I especially love his intonation and solo working through all of his songs, but Nightlife will always be my one of my favorite songs of C6. I hear some influences from Big E in Steve's playing, but more importantly, his own style is just too awesome.
Anyway, I will just leave this here, enjoy!

If you read this Steve, I hope to meet y'all sometime.
Best regards,

Steve is a killer player. Yes, Buddy Emmons was a huge influence on him too. Mathew, if you have never met Steve I hope one day you can. He and his wife are so friendly it is unreal. I told him at the Texas Show in March I wish that I could see what was going on in his mind while he played. His response nearly made me fall down laughing. "Not much" is what he said. Steve plays some of the most unusual licks and phrasings I do not hear other steel players play. One of the best players today for sure. |

I have been lucky enough to see Steve multiple times and he never fails to leave me stunned by his talent. Night life is my all time favorite and Steve put a spin on it that is beyond comparison. I have the highest respect and admiration for Steve and his lovely wife. |

I have Steve's "Let the Games begin" and for my money, he is the best steel player, bar none. Would like to buy some more cd's if I could find. _________________ SL D-10, SL U-12,SL SD-10, Custom Tele w/B bender, Steel King, TC300 Effects, Goodrich H-10K pedal, Fender V/T Pedal, Hilton Pedal Elite seat. |
