Hello again. I have an older Sierra Olympic. D-10. It has the shoes that you can slide the pickups in and out for a quick swap. The problem I am having it that it easy to push the C6 pickup out of the slot accidently while playing the E9 neck as there is no lock to hold it any. Has anyone come up with a way to lock the pickup in place? Just wondering. Thanks. _________________ Tele, Strat

on the Session there's a couple Phillips head screws that can be tightened to make the pickup more snug. _________________ 1965 Emmons S-10, 3x5 • Emmons LLIII D-10, 10x12 • JCH D-10, 10x12 • Beard MA-8 • Oahu Tonemaster |

Must have been one of the improvements the Sessions had over the older Sierras. I'll have to look into something like that. Where are the screws located? Thank you. _________________ Tele, Strat

Thanks Charlie. I already have been in contact with Jim. He is busy at the Dallas show but will get with me when he's back and settled in. I think I will be buying a number of things from him. _________________ Tele, Strat

Pull out the pickup. There should be two "Phillip's" screw heads staring you in the face. You can loosen or tighten these screws...(caveat)slightly loosen or tighten these screws...to avoid damaging the base.
This info is based on the Session and Crown series...Olympic be different. |
