Hello, is anyone aware of an expantion cabinet for the Nashville 112. I'm looking to bring the sound closer to the drummer and Lead player. I have my amp well behind me sometines cranking and they still say I need to be louder. Not a big fan of this amp to begin with so if there's no solution, I'm going bigger. Thanks. |

There's no factory option (second) for an external speaker cabinet. |

Jack is correct.
The NV112 is not designed to use an extension speaker cabinet.
However,
You can use a "powered" speaker cabinet and connect it to the preamp out.
Look around for an inexpensive power amp and speaker cabinet.
This way the drummer could also have control of the volume that you are sending to him.
Or if you are using floor monitors for your vocals, you could just mic your amp and send it ONLY to the drummers monitor. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. Here is another option and very cheap IMHO.
Use the preamp out and buy another small amp to put near the drummer.
Plus if you were to have amp problems, you would have a backup right there on stage.
Here is one FS right now

well, hold on folks.
The N112 wants to see a 4 ohm load. I changed the main speaker to an 8 OHM 12" emmi speaker, I've been using it like this for 2 years or longer, no issues. THEN I added an ext speaker jack, so adding another 8 ohm cab brings it back to 4 ohms, which I do often.
I initially changed the speaker to a Fender Gold Label Emmi to get rid of the excessive mid range. This speaker also brightened the amp up quite a bit. Zero issues going from the 4 ohm to the 8 ohm load when using it stand alone, no notice of any volume drop either.
I wouldn't drop the OT to less than 4 ohms though, going to 8 is not a hardship, going under 4 may very well be.
So, have at it !

not a problem Chuck, using the N112 preamp out to feed a powered monitor has no effect on the N112 output section. The comment above refers only to the N112 speaker connections. _________________ Emmons L-II , Fender Telecasters, B-Benders , Eastman Mandolin ,

Use a shielded instrument cable for the connection. |

Maaaaaaaaaany years ago when i was using a Nashville 112 {purchased from bobbe Seymour} for a very short time. Out of desperation i set it up and used it as Tony uses his. I had mine loaded with Weber 12" 8 ohm Neodymiums in the amp and extention speaker cab. It was a big improvement for that amplifier.
