My thanks to Jeff Surratt at Show-Pro Guitars for restoring an old Pro 2 that I came across on Ebay into this:
http://homepage.mac.com/davidlevitsky/PhotoAlbum44.html

Unfortunately I do not have the "before" pictures but I would highly recommend anyone looking to do refurbish an Sho Bud to speak to Jeff - It's like a new guitar - But Better!! Plays like butter and the refinishing job is top notch.

A side note - I am somewhat new to this but I've put about $3000 into this prjoect - anyone have an idea what the Sho-Bud Market value is now? ( now that it's going anywhere so soon!)

Thanks!

Wow, David. It looks priceless from this vantage point. It's moments like this that I wish I played Sho~Buds instead of ZBs.
By the way, where in Jersey do you live? I used to live in Allentown, NJ and was just wondering.

Gary - Sorry don't have a BEFORE pic since I never actually owned it - bought it used and had shipped straight to Jeff. I believe it was a natural or amber color before however.

I was choosing between a new guitar and doing the refurb thing. I had my eye on a Mullen or a new Excel, but guess they'll have to wait - this is way too much guitar for a DDP (middle word is abbreviation for "Dobro") like me already. Back to the 'shed with Winnie and Doug and their great books!
