| I bought new connectors and they fit tight If i spray the connectors the reverb works great for two or three days then stops working. When reverb stops working i spray the connectors with peavey Funk Out and it starts working again What is the problem |

Good question, but I think it will require a tech to signal trace.

As Mike Brown has suggested, HARD WIRING will definitely rid the intermittent problems of the Molex connectors. HOWEVER, if you wish to retain the flexibility of having removable connectors, the trick is to replace the TIN pins with GOLD ones. They make MUCH better connections. You will Have to retain the plastic connector housing, as they don't make those five-pin ones anymore. Remove the cable pins with an extractor tool(https://www.amazon.com/Connector-Remover-Computer-Extractor-Sleeving/dp/B0094MIS9U/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=Molex+connector+removal+tool&qid=1552422401&s=gateway&sr=8-2) and replace with gold pins from Mouser:
Gold Molex Pins, Male Cable 0.093 P/N 02-09-6106
Gold Molex Pins, Female Cable 0.093 P/N 02-09-5106
Then unsolder the pins on the PC board and replace with new gold ones:
Gold Molex Pins, Male PC Tail 0.093 P/N 02-09-6132
Gold Molex Pins, Female PC Tail 0.093 P/N 02-09-5132
I don't recall offhand the exact combination of number of male/female/cable/PC pins required, but it should be easily determined.

I found new 5 pin molex connectors on Ebay.
I could only find gold MALE pins. No gold FEMALE pins which is what you need. Maybe the product # above will yield better luck |

For best conduction, you need to replace BOTH sides of the mating pins with gold ones.
