I always wanted to try installing a new potentiometer in my Goodrich L-120 volume pedal. There is a YouTube video from Goodrich showing how to restring the pedal. I also took a pic of how the string looked on the shaft before I removed it. Highly recommended.

It came out very nice. I used a new old stock Claristat 500 ohm pot. Sounds and works good.

Len, that looks like a Dunlop pot. Is this the before picture or is that the replacement. I bought 2 new old stock Clarostat 500k pot and they look like the old AB pots. I'm confused here. Good work anyway.

That’s the before picture so I had a good idea how to restring the shaft.

Len, Was the original pot 250K? If yes was there any change in taper? Tone?

I don’t know what pot was in the volume pedal but I put a 500 ohm Claristat potentiometer in the pedal. Very nice tone and sweep on the pedal.
