Does anyone know if the Jeff Newman 30 Intros book comes with audio tracks or is it just a tab book? |

It looks like it originally might have come with a 7” record. I’m just looking for audio tracks if possible. I just bought the book but it didn’t come with any audio tracks.
I think the DVD is for the ‘Just Give Me A Intro’ course, which is different. |

I've never seen that. The nice thing about Newman's tabs with things like intros is that they are two to four bars, mostly of quarter notes and perhaps a few eighth notes. It is not that hard to guess how it is supposed to sound like.
That is the way his C6 intros are in his C6th course.
For a long time I had his Bandstand Backup without the audio and played through all of the fills and even used them in other songs.
After finally getting the sound files, I was pleased to find out I was playing most of them right anyway.
Don't get me wrong, sound files save a lot of time and grief.
But with Newman's stuff, it is nice to know that it is usable to a large degree without the sound files. Frankly, I think his old material is a lot better than what he did with DVDs. _________________ Curbside Jimmy's New Act

I hear you James, but sometimes I like to listen to the audio to get different ideas for phrasing. If it’s not available, that’s fine too. I just haven’t had any luck getting responses from Melissa. |

Jamie, I am with you on listening. The steel guitar tablature business has to be the most polite enterprise in the world. Hardly any of the stuff is copyright protected if any at all. In any other activity someone would round up all of Newman's old material and re do it. _________________ Curbside Jimmy's New Act
