Stolen Sho Bud from storage building in North Carolina October of 2018
My friend had this special Sho Bud stolen from a storage it looks to be a special build maybe we can help locate this steel.

That's a Universal Sho-Bud - they are as rare as hen's teeth, so should be pretty easy to spot this one if it goes up for sale. I hope your friend has the serial number, Johnnie? My '75 12-string had narrow, smooth pedals - this one has the treaded narrow pedals. So, as a guess, I'd say it is '76 or later - anyone know about when they started using the narrow pedals with treads? A couple other points of distinction - it has the black diamond inlay (probably the most commonly used inlay with S-B, but still, helps you make sure you are seeing this guitar), and also the B+W fretboards - not as common as the black, white, and red ones.

This should serve as a reminder to everyone - take a picture of your steel guitar serial numbers, and then email them to yourself so they stay in the cloud!
