I have a new steel seat from W.C. Edgar, and I love it! it is by far the most comfortable I have used. Mine has the back rest. I find W.C.'s seat to be very rugged/stout, and can take allot of abuse on the road.

W.C. has sold his seat biz to a fine gentleman in California, as W.C. is devoting all his time to promoting his new cd "Close Up The Honky Tonks". It is a killer cd, as is REAL country---fresh and brand spankin' new and ORIGINAL!! Check it out!

You can order a new steel seat by emailing: sales@steelseat.com . Thanx W.C. for a fine seat and a GREAT cd.

Maybe W.C. will chime in and introduce the new owner's name?

I received one of the last batch of steel seats from W.C. Edgar before he sold off the company. I have to say it's the most comfortable and spacious seats I've ever used. This is luxury and quality at it's finest. I hope the new owner maintains the high quality and standards W.C. insisted upon in his product. Thanks W.C.!

Likewise Kenny, I too got my seat (which I just love) from Mr. Edgar and found him to be a very nice gentleman to deal with. Hopefully the new owner will be as great to do business with!

James, Kenny, Leroy, Thanks for the nice words about our seats.
WC has built a great seat and a good reputation and we intend to maintain both. We took over this company because of the quality of the seat and feel all players need to "put their seat on our seat".

I've had my seat about 3 years and it is as comfortable as the day I bought it. I like the comfort and the fact I don't bottom out on it. It looks like "brand new" still and lots of room for 'things'.

Hey Thom (Bozo)!

Congratulations on the seat building business. I wish you much success, and can't think of a greater guy for folks to do business with!

Also, welcome to the Steel Guitar Forum. I'll be looking forward to seeing more posts from you on here.

I also got one of WC's last batch of seats. I'm really enjoying it - very sturdy and comfortable. It's great work, lots of space and sure beats the heck out of the ol' drum stool.
