I just finished reconing a JBL K120 with a kit from Sound Speaker Repair. That was my first time reconing a speaker and I was fairly intimidated, but it really wasn't hard. I just followed the included instructions and worked slow.
I am surprised how good it sounds. There really is nothing like a good JBL. _________________ It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. |

Ditto on the fear factors. I have 2 D120f that need it. I watched all the videos and feel like I should get it done. My Twin reverb hasn't made me happy since I replaced these. |

I just redid a D130 with their re-cone kit.
A piece of cake!
