Up for sale is a sweet-sounding 1939 Gibson-made Recording King Model "D" lap steel-- SOLD!
Thanks!

Folks! Had a request for a couple more pics (sorry, just snapped these on my phone--my daughter took the others with a "real" camera), and a request for anyone who can describe what these Gibson-made pick-ups sound like?

Anyone else have any experience with these? I think they sound a lot like the CC pickups, but would love more input.

I have made an agreement. Will mark sold when payment received, but I expect it's a done deal.
