Metal or wood? Inlaid or corner?

call Duane Marrs, 615-453-2371. I believe he uses 1/4" metal inlay on his guitars.

I was about to post the same topic. I'm going to be building a console steel, probably covered in black formica, but with shiny steel edging, which would be L shaped, probably nickel-plated brass.

Anyone know a source of supply ? I built a similar instrument 30 years ago when I was living in Birmingham, England, and at that time I went to an auto supply shop and found some in the detailing rack.
