Strange question. I've got a couple of pots for a future project. They have been laying for weeks in a magnetic tray where I dropped them and left them (you know--one of those Harbor Freight magnetic parts holders).

Should I be concerned that anything has become magnetized and might become noisy or otherwise weird? I ask as a total non-tech who just had this pop into his head.

No, the critical parts in a pot are carbon, so they're not affected by magnetism.

Thanks. I had a mental picture of some sort of magnified field the signal would be passing through.
