Ryan,

I'm going to put it at late July of 1972 according to the database that I keep. I just entered your data into it.

Michael

I have the same one! Mine dates back to '72. Great sounding steels. I have the C6 one but converted back to E9.

Weighs a ton though Wink

David, if you mean the S10 that came with 6 pedals, that would be a 6140.
Same era Bud, basically the same gtr with more pedals and a different setup.

Wonderful guitars...I have #2752.

Hey there Skip,

Just to clarify, is yours a 6139 or a 6140? I have it down as a 6139 and need to correct it if that's wrong.
Also, Color, pedals, knees, build sticker?

Gonna miss you at PHX but hope to see you at Dallas!

Michael

Michael, mine's a 6139. Blonde/rope/controls & tap switch on rear shelf. 3 Ped/4 KL's. Original p/u.
Never had a build sticker...and I bought it new.
No PHX for you? Not sure if I'll be in Dallas yet...
Till then, Happy Trails...

i think mine may also be a 6140. appears it was factory drilled for 6 pedals.

i just got this guitar and am brand new to this model. the toggle switch was originally a coil tap right? anyone wanna chime in to express a preference or describe tone for each of the settings?
