I've played this horn and it sounds great..!! Cool looking too. John Hughey and Bob Hempker both had guitars with the same finish in the early 70s.

I remember seeing Conway and Loretta live in the early 70s with Bob and John playing guitars that looked just like this horn.
John cut some of Conway's hits on his satin blue - black wood-neck, bolt-on, fat-back.
I think $2900.00 is a good price for this horn. I think it's very cool and I'd play it anytime, anywhere. I wish I could justify buying it... but I'm biting the bullet on a new Ultrex trolling motor for my bass-boat. The Ultrex cost almost as much as this great Emmons..!!

Me three!
I hope the new owner nicknames this guitar Batman. The blue/black makes it look like a superhero. |

I don't understand why no one seems to want this. I thought bolt-on's were sought after. $2900. seems like a low price. I already have too many, or I would buy this myself just for the investment. Thanks, Tommy..... |

A fatback bolt-on is rare indeed. Maybe special order? Emmons used Bolt-on changers well into the '70s on wood neck models, but I don't recall seeing a metal neck bolt-on much after '67 or '68 (?). Cool guitar. _________________ Drew Pierce

Oops. Wood necks. They were just about all bolt-ons, yes? Still a cool guitar. _________________ Drew Pierce
