Darn! The wheels on my Wheel-Eze case got brittle and the outer and inner layer both broke away in brittle pieces, leaving just the most inner part of the wheel (not very good for wheeling).
I ordered new wheel assemblies from the SKB parts website, they are pretty inexpensive (7-bucks ea).
I just drilled out the old one!
Here we go with the new ones!

Me: Looks like we need an A-dapt kit?...
My Drill: You're talkin' to the A-dapt kit, Suuuuuuun!!!
Me: Is "gently drill through the center of the back-side..." possibly "code" for, "Use brute-force to Shear off with a chisel and hammer"???

I am the first to admit I have not worked on one of these cases. I have replaced some parts on Cargo Boxes and Camera Cases of the same construction.
I would suggest you remove the foam and look at the inside. If they used Pop Rivets there is a good chance there is backup washers used on the rivets to keep the Pop Rivets from tearing through the plastic, When they popped them tight.
Some plastics and leather will not attach proper without back up washers. Check if they used any waterproofing after installing the wheels.
I would suggest wet setting the rivets with silicone and then coating the rivet area inside with silicone. This would keep the foam and guitar dry if you happen to run the case through a water puddle.
We wet set and coated the rivets inside on the cases I worked on to maintain the water proof of the cases.

| Looks great. And by using bolts and nuts, You are looking to the future. If they wear out again you will be able to change wheels in just a few minutes. Now back to Happy Wheelin and Steelin. |
