Does anyone know where I can hear the full version of this song? I found this in the Hawaiian Music Collection at the Manoa University Website. It has a super tantalizing 30 second sample but since I'm not a student I can't get access to the full version. I've attempted to find this song on Youtube, Spotify, General Internet Searches, Ebay, Amazon and more! However I cannot find this song anywhere and it seems that no other artist has ever recorded it. I believe the steel guitarist here would be Bernie Kaai because of other recordings from these same Capitol Transciptions I have found, but I'm not sure. I'm getting desperate! HELP!
The link for the 30 second sample is on this page with extra information:

I like the instruction on the label, just to the right of the hole:

Honestly it sounds like somebody needs to get the appropriate library card, in Hawaii...nothing on Discogs that lines up, or the internet in general, but it seems like the university library has a copy, just doesn't let anyone in without a student ID. Kinda annoying, I suppose I understand it... _________________ Waikīkī, at night when the shadows are falling

Maybe not the place for speculation on US copyright laws, but it really surprises me that I can't access the University of Hawaii at Manoa archives using my own university account which I can use to search through journal articles from all over the world for free. I guess a full length digital file is a bit different... _________________ Commodore S-8

I know it's just so tantalizing looking at this ridiculous collection and not being able to access these songs in any way. Guess I need to go back to college |
