I’m not a huge fan of the strobe visual ... just isn’t as intuitive as a classic readout for me. _________________ Shobud "The Professional" D-10, Stage One S-10, National "New Yorker," NV400 |

I use a Korg Pitch Black. Vvvery smooth display as it comes on to pitch. Vvvery readable in the dark or bright sun.

Turbo Tuner by Sonic Research. My favorite by far but it is difficult to program offsets. It has the fastest response time and is the most pitch sensitive of any I have ever used. |

My favorite, and the one I still use even though I've got a StroboFlip that I like, is this Seiko that I got from b0b in the forum store. But it has been discontinued.
I LOVE that it gives a numerical reading, in cents, of deviation from ET.
I just ordered a used Seiko from Ebay as backup. I have no difficulty remembering how many cents off of straight up I detune and it suits me better than making programs.
The biggest negative is that it is not backlit. And that can be an issue. If I could design a perfect tuner (for me), it would be this, with backlighting.
I sure wish they'd bring this back.
