I have a supply of new 7/8" x 3 1/4" John Pearse bars. You will not find a harder smoother stainless steel bar than these heat tempered then cryogenically frozen bars. Great tone!! Great price, so please email me at rollermusic@cox.net for pricing. PayPal accepted.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry, Do they come still frozen? How long does it take to thaw them out? Surprised

Jim, it depends on several factors. In the hands of Tommy White it would not take very long! I carry a hair dryer when breaking in a new frozen bar.

As long as your microwave can stand it, probably 1.45 seconds Smile
Seriously, if you read up on cryogenics you will see that it definetly hardens metal. I have used my Pearse bar many years and there is no sign of wear or dents in it. I compare tone to my Emmons bar and I can hear a difference. Better tone with the Pearse. If I don’t believe in and use a product I don’t promote it.

I too use one of these bars, the 1" dia., and am very well pleased with the feel and smoothness of the product. I especially like the slightly indented heel of the bar for bar slants. Regardless of the "jokes" it is a fine product and a "super person" making them available.
