Hi Jim! Very nice guitar indeed. When did Williams go to the side mounted pedal rod connectors? Last I knew, they were inline center pull. |

Williams pedals can still be ordered center pull if you like. Most guys don't (Me included). I've played Williams for over 20 years now. They are mechanically great and sound great. |

Very nice looking guitar Jim. I have a 400X Crossover on order that should arrive around the end of May so I'm excited like you.
I really like the design of the changer and 5+5 crossover system.

Hope you all will be as pleased with your Williams Steels as I am, received my new D-10 8x8 keyless (beautiful birdseye maple lacquer, reddish tobacco brown)in December, It sounds and plays great, is mechanically sound and the finnish is georgeous. Have about 55 hours on a Jagwire .011 short wound third and its still going strong. Should have changed it but want to see how long it will last.

Jim,Iknow you will love it.After I bought a new riding mower for my wife for Xmas,I felt justified in getting a little something for me.After considerable consultation w/Bill I decided on a U-12 keyless w/ a mini pad. After I received it in late Dec.and opening the case I could not help but admire the beautiful display of engineering and workmanship before me.After setting it up ,it was evident that a master had designed and built this guitar.I am an autobody repair an paint specialist and I know a beautiful highly durable finish.I poke it w/ TT through my Hilton and Digitech delay into Nv 112 I LUV it. Bill Rudolph is IMO a great person to deal with answering every concern I had.Oh, and did I mention,it only weighs 30 lbs. |

My second Williams was a very unusual order. As far as we know, it's the only D-12 crossover ever built. I was nervous about it as I traveled across Wisconsin to visit Bill and check out the almost-finished guitar.
When I got there, I was overwhelmed. It's not often that you specify a custom item, and get exactly what you asked for. The guitar is absolutely beautiful, sounds great and works flawlessly. Here's a picture from that day:
Thanks, Bill!
