I donâ€™t believe Emmons is on that. I think his first recording with Ray Charles was â€œVolcanic Action Of My Soulâ€, done years later in L.A.

I have Modern Sounds (Vol. 1) on a 1988 Rhino CD. It doesn't have any steel on it that I can remember. I wish someone would reissue Volcanic Sounds.

Thanks for the correction, I thought this was the recording everyone talked about that Buddy had done with Ray.

I guess it's a step in the right direction and may lead to the release of Vocanic Sounds.
