If I were starting from scratch, (It's going to be mostly trial & error!) I would place both pull~rods in the lowest hole in the changer and about the 3rd. hole away from the body, on the pullers. Then, move the pull~rod as far away from the body as possible on the 2nd.-str. pull~rod. That should be pretty close. Then if the 2nd.-str. hasn't reached (D) by the time str.#9 begins to change, move #9 pull~rod one more hole away from the body. However, if the #9-str. starts a little too soon, move the nylon~tuner on #9 ‘up’ one hole closer to the bridge. That will shorten the travel ever so slightly on str. #9. Again, it's mostly going to be trial & error!
