Hey Crowbear. I'm very happy to hear you love your new ZumSteel, and it was an honor and a pleasure in helping you to get it. As soon as Bruce sends photos to me, I will post them here for you.

And by the way.... your Jagwire decals are on the way to you.

Thanx for the comments guys
heck i ain't the best but Zums are !
i've been here amongst you for quite a while & have never yet let y'all heard just how & what i play
no excuze !

boo hoo hoo, i still don't have a pic to show y"all
i got a 35mm w: 12 out of 36 shot
please bear w: me,

Per, i waited 15 months
Dag, i did'nt opt for the hybrid changer
i'm not much of a PP connaisseur
nevertheless this Zum is precise & flawless
no matter what pedal, lever or combinations are actioned, it's in tune
serial # is D1098974
TrueTone equipped ( sound GREAT !)
on P8 ( which is the same as P7 on a standard Emmons C6 set up, Bruce cut out a slant on the right corner of that pedal.
he told me that John Hughey had come up w: the idea
i opted for the "Franklin" pedal on 0 position & have to get used to pedal A bein' next to it

Bruce might have his 1000th Zum built on Zum's 30th anniversary

Good luck Crowbear. I've only had my Zum about twenty one years, and I've already had to change strings more then twice, and had to tune it a few times. Even tho it still looks and plays like new, I don't know if it's gonna stand up or not. I'll let you know in another twenty.

Congrats CrowBear. My Zum uni is the first pedal steel I ever had with no serious complaints. It is very well designed, and very good looking. I no longer have anything to blame for my hack playing.

Hi CrowBear
Congrats with your new Zum - it looks very very nice. I got my Zum about a year ago, just the best steel I've ever had - a couple of month later I ordered another new Zum - there will be some little changes on that comparet to the one I have now. Will order some spareparts to the one I have now - to make the changes, so both steel can have the same the same setup.

lookin forward to meet you some day
