Bonnie died a couple of days ago in Washington state.

She should be remembered here as a label owner and for first signing The Ventures, as well as for her long association (marriage) to Paul Tutmarc, and for a recording career of circa 50 years.

Always thought this was a cool tune, with Paul on steel, early 1950s:

I remember seeing her on Town Hall Party once in Compton, Calif doing her hit record of the day "Dark Moon"........ A really smooth vocalist.......JH in Va.
