In collaboration with Nash Music in Hilversum Netherlands, a book with CD will be released next year autumn (September 2019, with bad luck one year later....):
Pedal-Steelguitar in Europe 2000-2020.
In this book the important European steelers are the middlepoint with their instrument and their music.
The luxurious large hardcover book of at least 140 pages will be filled with information from and about steel guitarists from all European countries in which Steelers are present, from Scandinavia, British Isles, Central Europe, Eastern Europe to Southern Europe. The steel guitarists themselves will fill 2 or more pages in the book with information and photos about themselves, their instruments, their way of playing, their tuning (copedant) with their own original song and tablature. In addition, several CDs with the songs and a CD with backing tracks of their songs.
A book and a CD have been chosen above a digital document: What could be better than sitting lazily on the couch reading and browsing in a steel guitar book and at the same time listening to what the steelers tell us? Online and on the laptop or telephone there is enough, but nothing reads as good as a really beautiful book!
This multilingual book is a 'must have' for every steeler! It will therefore also be released worldwide and be for sale through the major online stores and the better bookshops. In addition, of course, through the various steel guitar forora to order. The ideal Christmas gift for December 2019! When we get in trouble with deadlines it will be 2020.
We take at least a year to make this book.
Do you know another player that should not be missing in this book, or do you think you belong yourself?
Have that Pedalsteel guitar player register with us before December 2018, via Johan@steeljj.com
We will then contact the steeler about all conditions.
Also on behalf of Humphrey Saalberg of Nash Music,
Sincerely,
Johan Jansen |

Ahoy Johan,
Sounds great. Thanks for all your efforts. I look forward to reading about my Dutch steeler friends: Rob, Marco, Emil, you, Jan V. and the others.
