Hello all, I'm pretty sure that my A pedal is out of tune, (I have an E9 Carter Starter for now) and even though I have printed resources telling me how to tune your floor pedals, someone told me a while back that you need to be really careful if you don't really know what you're doing, because you can really mess up your steel if you do it the wrong way. So of course I haven't messed with it. Is this true? Or should I just go ahead with it? Should I take it to a friend of mine that's a steel player and just watch him do it the first time? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Megan,,, any help you can get is good, but I think I'd just go ahead and tune it.
Tune your strings open, then tune the pedal pull at the end plate. Shouldn't be any problem at all.
